Update::::: My doc rearranged his schedule to get me in yesterday he is a great doctor. He went over my BRAIN FILMS with me, and took great time in showing me and explaining everything. My patient advocate went with me so that I had another set of unbiased ears and eyes LOL. Because my doc is a Neuro Psychiatrist he knows all aspects of my problems. So now I have FIRED the other NUT JOB, and he will be in charge of not only treatment for the PTSD but treatment for the Neurological problems. He is NOT redoing the Neuro Psych exam at this time because untill we can get the Pain backed off to a degree of not making me INSANE, there would be no point. He also has a very strong opinon of Neuro Psych testing and says yes it is helpful but it leaves to much open ended opinon to not only the person giving the test but the person reading the test I was told this before by a consulting neuro psychiatrist that they to do not use that type of testing as a KNOW ALL for their diagnosis. I guess because of where the damage to my brain is, in the frontal lobe all kinds of WEIRD AND INTERSTING symptoms can be seen and they flucuate because of over stressing that particular part of the brain. I really like this doc and I should have been smarter and just let him deal with ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL of my problems but NOW I KNOW LOL. He did give me a script for some pain pills of course knowing full well how I feel about meds, he said just take them when you feel you can not handle it anymore with breathing, relaxation, massage etc... He is very good about not pushing meds on me that would be all I would need is to become an addict on top of everything else. He told me to that treating a patient with an obvious brain injury is a very tricky thing to do because the combination of medications have to be precises as to not cause worse symptoms, and he does not have a problem adding in something HOLISTIC later on but only AFTER a complete diagnosis is made and then ONLY ADDING IN WHAT IS MEDICALY PROVEN to help. NOW SEE that makes sense. The scare tissue is not ever going to go away, it can not be removed so we have to handle this very carefully and with everything else that is wrong with me he has his work cut out for him, but that is why he gets paid VERY WELL LOL. I have another EEG on the 10th and probably another MRI to follow to see if anything got bigger or if more areas show signal abnormalities. OH WELL I have nothing better to do LOL.
