Sunset on the Lake

I love to see the lake at sunset,
Very different so much later.
Quieter now, it seems to whisper...
"Come and worship the Creator."

Crickets begin a late serenade
As colors dance across the water.
The masterpiece of His creation
Performing for the Heav'nly Father.

The whipporwill adds his approval,
While ripples tip-toe on the surface,
More evidence of His love for man;
The beauty of Heaven is His purpose.
