I'm Not Afraid I’m Not Afraid
It’s midnight and I’m not afraid,
Finally peace has come again.
Why should I then fear the LORD?
He has forgiven all my sin.
My life is in the blood, I’m told,
So I can feel it drip away…
Or, run like a river of red,
Gone just too fast to even pray.
No, I don’t have to be this way,
Struggling and feeling so insane.
Why not just give up and let go?
The only loss would be the pain.
I know He will carry me through,
Yes, all this time I should have known.
He will welcome me home at last,
No more in turmoil must I roam. |
