Default The Goverment Policy

I've never been able to figure out why decisions are made, pro or con, concerning a drugs usefulness in the medical field. To make my point, look at marijuana. It's used as a medication to lower eye fluid pressure in glaucoma patients. Some countries allow it's use as a prescription pain medication (Canada). In most countries it's legal to consume alcohol, which leads to driving and accidents, but it's illegal to smoke a joint, which leads to not driving cuz you feel too high, or if you do drive you may go way UNDER the speed limit cuz you don't know if you're driving OK. Did you EVER hear of anyone robbing the local convenience store because they needed money to buy another bad of pot? If anything, the person thought about it, and then thought, "damn, I'm too high, I'll never be able to be harsh enough to pull this off", or they get too paranoid of getting busted. And, if you've never thought of smoking a joint when you have a muscle pain or any kind of pain really, try it, you'll be surprised when your pain seems to just float away. Instead, the medical society opts for opium derivatives, which don't even work as well. How pot could ever get classified as a class 1 illegal substance is beyond me. Did they really believe that movie named, "Reefer Madness"? It's almost as if they look at a drug, if it works and has alot of side effects, it's definately gonna make the prescription drug hit parade, but if it works with no complications, it's instantly defined as class 1 and illegal. Hey, what if the medical society is so criminal that they approve a drug on it's ability to stimulate return business to the medical field by the prescription drug user, sorta like marijuana is kept illegal because too many influential people are making too much money off it because it is illegal, they'd have to find something new and illegal to invest in, like the heroin trade or cocaine imports. Too many hidden agendas in the medical field, too many people still think doctors are all good people, those ideas are over a hundred years old and invalid today. Just my humble opinion.....:crazy-eye
