I can recognize some triggers and remove myself from the situation, most times politely, sometimes not as politely, but still remove myself. I really don't care what people think or say, they never walked in my shoes and yes sometimes I make an ass out of myself and hurt some feelings, but Que sera sera. It would sure beat me sticking around and wigging out and possibley getting volitile. Also....there are times that the trigger happens too fast to remove myself and then it can turn into a pissing match, I hate when that happens and I usually beat my own ass mentally afterward for allowing someone to ellicit such a response out of me that I compromise my own integrity. I hope this makes some sense.
