this is an abstract poem i wrote a few years ago. it doesnt have any particular form, it was just something that came to me in a moment of deep reflection.

"spiders shadows erupt into cinema
laid out for our eyes, for our minds, for our hearts.
frown on me forever, so we can dance in this holocaust,
and celebrate in nuclear winter. does our dignity hang by a thread?
if so, is it a thread we hold for ourselves?
animals find warmth in our cavities, tears drop like bombs,
and dynamite bruises our stomachs."

thinking back, this is something i wrote when i was having alot of nightmares about the world trade center attacks. though i didnt intentionally write it about that, thats probably what it was inspired from. sorry if this upset anyone.
