Default Search PTSD Forum From Your Browser Search Function

I have now added a feature so you can search the forum from your browser, no longer requiring to go into the search page itself. First you must add the function to your browser search, either IE7 or FireFox browser.

Internet Explorer 7

Ensuring you have just refreshed a page upon the forum, in the top right search box you have a selection menu that you can drop down (image below) which will contain a selection for PTSD Forum. This is how you change between searches in your browser basically.

You can see PTSD Forum with the asterisks beside it, simply choose it and that then becomes your default search. You would have to change this when not upon the forum if you wanted to search the web, as you do when searching between multiple search engines. The end result should be:

And its as simple as that.

FireFox Users

A little more to this one, though gives you better control than IE does. Firstly, when you look in the top right of your FF browser, the search box will have a glow to it when you are upon the forum. This means the forum has a search capability that can be added to your FF search bar. Looks like:

You then drop down that selection box and you will see PTSD Forum can be added, like such:

Click to add the forum as a search capability, you will then see the forum icon in the search bar as your selected search engine of choice, like:

Enjoy!
