EMPTY HAS NO WORDS
I'm crying
on the outside
Because there's nothing
left inside
No hope
No time
No age
Just walking passing
shadows
I am surrounded
by all this dark
Sun fails
to penetrate
only forests
Hide the trees
My hands
can't pull them down
or away
Which would require
Some grand effort
lost to me
I'm not pushing
Just standing here
On empty
With loss
engraved
A scar upon
my heart
