Sounds as though you have some trauma yourself. You have a therapist? Might be a good idea to get one if not. Need to work through your own issues - regardless of family support.
Argh. Just read again, and you do have a counselor. Shit. Helps to read carefully I reckon.

However. If things aren't well with the therapist, perhaps a) you need to reveal more or, b) you need a different therapist.
