Well, I saw a pharmacist-M.D. on Friday and she gave me another 20 mg of Cynbalta to take at night. I have been taking 60mg Cymbalta mornings for 2 years and all the sudden last week it seemed like it just stopped working. Just stopped dead. I spent all the last week crying in bed, had a sex drive for the first time in years, I just could not get out of bed to shower or go out of the house to do anything. I could not move out of the bed from depression. Friday I called and got right in to see this one pharmacist-doctor, I also called to try to get names of psychiatrists who may change my Cymbalta to something else, and I made an appt in the pain clinic too. These are my back up plans in case plan A does not work out or my insurance decides to not cover the increase dose of Cymbalta. They are charging me two copays as it is. I am having waves of racing heart and panic, fear, crying spells, intrusive thoughts, feeling like I am drowning like I can't breathe, nervousness, I can't stand this. I will make more calls Monday.
