I recently bought this book and all throughout the book she recommends and highlights that ideally you are under the care of a therapist.
Initially I couldn't get into, found it too triggering. Then I got some comfort, and now I haven't picked up again in a couple of weeks, as I'm finding it too much.
She does say that people do find the book triggering, may increase suicide ideation etc which is why she recommends that you have a therapist.
I don't think it would be ideal to be reading this if there was a stressful environment and no therapist IMHO. |
