Both my husband and I do the same thing when the other leaves the bed first. Years of sleeping with your lover makes their warmth and their scent a comfort.
Little things do mean a whole lot. My hubby makes coffee in the morning and brings me my first cup. He also brings me a chocolate bar occasionally. It seems to be always when I need the comfort of some chocolate! The best thing, I think, is that whenever he passes by me, he always touches me. A kiss, a hug, a pat on the rear or even just a touch. It has always made me feel a little extra loved that he does this.
