There are times when I feel like it is all that there is. Its like my brain is being intruded upon by all these thoughts and I just want to block it out so bad!
For me, I've found that when I'm not directly working with my symptoms, keeping myself busy works best. I noticed this trend because when I'm working or in school I tend to feel almost normal but as soon as I leave it all comes back. My husband bought me a new video game and that's been helping me lately. Also started rollerblading again now that the weather here turned warmer.
The only general tip I think I can give anyone is to pay attention to what makes you feel better or worse and why. Gain as much insight into yourself as you can, and work with your therapist towards better understanding of these things and healthy ways to deal with them. Be honest with yourself too. |
