My name is Steve, I would like to introduce myself. I have been living with PTSD for the past 5 years, but like many have tried dealing with it alone.

Last year, I realized that this was not just going to "go away", and it wasn't just affecting me but my family as well. I finally sought help which was very hard for me to do because of my career.

It's been really hard and that is an understatement but I am trying to get the help I need but my history,ego or pride has stood in the way for a very long time.

I hope I may find some new friends here and maybe some good advice along the way. I also hope that the last 5 years that I feel have been lost to this disease, I may be given the chance to get back. I also hope that I may be able to help others who may have dealt with this the same wrong way as I have.
