I decided to make myself (and my family, if they're lucky) a cheesecake because today I celebrate my 35th birthday! As a child I was convinced I wouldn't live past 21, but here I am, still making it! The crust is graham crackers, animal crackers, toasted walnuts and a pinch of cinnamon, generously drizzled with butter...I use vanillia and almond extract in the filling and it is to die for (figure of speech). I decided that wasn't enough so I also made a carmel sauce and I couldn't stop licking the spoon. I would share with y'all if I could, I will be sure to enjoy half of it on all of your behalf!

Nam - isn't it funny the associations our children have for our behaviors? My girls do the same thing when I put on makeup (it's a rare thing these days!)
