Hi, I'm Tim - 8 Year Army Vet With PTSD

8 year Army veteran. 3 years 82nd Airborne, 1 Mech Infantry, 3 years in LRSD and finally a year straight leg.

Spent time in the Middle East, Afghanistan, Easten Europe.

I'm only now coming to terms with the fact that I have cronic PTSD. Hard to accept I guess for someone like me.

Anyway, I guess at this point I'm tryign to put my life back together and save my marriage.

Welcome to the forum, Loathe. My Uncle Jim (username Jim on the forum) was deployed to all three locations you mentioned... Golan Heights, Afghanistan, Croatia.

Hey, I'm the wife of a guy whose been there done that and got the t-shirt. 3 yrs. combat engineer with 101st Airborne, then EOD school, then 3 yrs EOD at Ft. Bragg, then 1 yr in Korea. Got out, got called back for OIF. Spent just shy of 12 months in sand.
