Hello from England as well.
It is been five months of heaven and hell since I was attacked. I still have not managed to get any advice or counselling, or even managed to talk to anybody. Anybody, I speak to gets so shocked by the dumbed down story they cannot handle it. If they can, they either do not know what to do, or manage to make things much much worse. So I need a professional. It is not PTSD but continual intimidation.
I find the problems to be:
1) physical and mental vulnerability (Critical Stress)
2) absence of any support groups
3) too traumatised to explain
4) poisonous hate campaign
5) financial and status and esteem problems
6) impotence by terror
