Got Thru Major Stresses

I'm writing this from my mom's house in Maine. My step-father died last Tuesday. Coming back to Maine was a hugh stressor for me. It was our vacation last August to Maine that tiggered my ptsd. Also death has usually been a trigger in the past. I've been here since thursday and have done quite well. Even had to see one of my abusers last night. My brother was at the funeral and I had to be in the same building with him for about an hour. Each time he walked towards me, I walked away. Didn't speak to him and didn't give him the chance to speak to me.

Henrys death was the second to hit our family this week. My sister Valerie's mother-in-law died on Monday. It has been a tough week. Mrs. Soucie's funeral was this morning. Its been a tough few days but I have made it.

Thanks everyone....I'm not doing so well right now....Henry left my mom nothing in his will....She can live in the house for one year but then has to move out....His daughter gets everything....$50,000 in savings account, 2 life insurance policy and the house....Mom saw a lawyer yesterday and told him she doesn't want to fight the will because she doesn't want to loss the relationship she has with his grandchildren....So she is still chosing him over me....I live in another state, my mom won't beable to visit my children unless I pay for it. She said to me yesterday. "I watched those children grow up" And she abandon me when I was 14....Nice mom, huh...
