I'm sitting on a train looking forward to a long weekend due to the Easter breaks.

While I am not religious, I respect people who are & wish you a very Happy Easter.

For the non-religious, but in the spirit type, I hope the Easter Bunny brings you bountiful baskets of chocolate eggs that are kind on the hips!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter!

I'm not really religious but do go to church to keep my parents happy! I do try and make every holliday a special even and very fun for the kids though... I believe there are to few special times in life and making good memories for the children to grow up with is important.

Happy Easter! For me its a combination of relatives, Church, and good eating. I kind of miss being a kid and doing the egg hunts and things, hehe.

While I don't participate in the whole religion thing of Easter, I will celebrate any holiday where there's Chocolate!

When my daughter was three (she is now 22) I was exposing her to church as a traditional form of worship with congregations. She asked me one day during the week before Easter what was the basket they passed down the pews for? I explained that was to support the Church involvement in social programs worldwide and to support the local church and minister.

HERE IT COMES ....

Easter Sunday she and I went to Church, the basket comes down the pew, and my daughter pulls out one of her colored eggs from her own basket at home and deposits it in the basket. I was so proud of her giving of herself in the way that she could. I then watched as the basket continued it's journey and the egg rolled around. The giggles and looks were priceless. I will never forget this as long as I live.

Out of the action of children are some very powerful lessons!

Cindy,
That's so funny, I can picture that easter egg rolling and the expression on peoples' faces as the basket goes around. Priceless!

Happy Easter.
