I have not been thinking to well of myself. I was just reading on this drug.....you can take 7.5mg-15mg.....I have taken 6...or more. (half of one would work and 6 don't).....I need a new doctor...more proactive.... No wonder it is not working....I have been on this four five years. Does anyone have a similar experience? Haven't always taken six it is ordered to take two...insomnia from hell.

I can't answer your question, but I wonder if I could ask you one concerning Zopiclone?

My doctor prescribed me it in early January. I sitll have the prescription, but have not taken it to the pharmacy. I am scared to take meds. How do you feel on it when it works? I am having an inner tug of war over this at the moment. My insomnia and nightmares are in full power at he moment. I beleive it is because I am working through healing.

So do I take these to help me sleep? Or do I ride the rough storm and see how I feel?

It;s a double edge sword, if I take them I am supressing again, but if I don't then I have to continue to function on zombie status as I am so tired from lack of sleep?

I hope I am not being selfish asking a question here?

Maybe try it short term...3-4 days and see exactly how it makes you feel...your body will develop a tolerance. I should never have allowed myself to keep filling the rx...so dependance and still no sleep...awful!!!! I think the exhaustion can sometimes alter your thinking as well making healing and therapy not as effective. Well.....that is a fact and i am living proof of that one. I can't remember the exact time frame but short term...much better. Some doctors just prescribe and them depend on clinics and people get addicted....I have a medical background and it happened to me. At least I was open with my doctor.......she is watching my meds now and only giving me a certain amount at a time. Take Care. Every person reacts differently but unfortunately you have to be comfortable with the decision to try or not. I worked on a surgical floor for 5 years, people in pain, anxiety...I can't begin to tell you how many sleeping pills were ordered and administered..........
