I am so freakin' lucky to have found this resource, and I look forward to graduating from it

The quote is from a different thread but quite pertinent, especially due to posts of late and comments from Jim in relation to Evie leaving the forum.

It serves as a timely reminder that the forum is a tool to assist you in your healing and should not become an ongoing way of life. The forum is good and contains valuable information. Its purpose is to share information for the benefit of all to assist with healing and but it is NOT to become an essential part of a person's long term day to day life.

I actually came to this conclusion in the last week. I realized i need to stop isolating myself ( I have the company of 12 year olds all the time) and I was using the forum to get me through but I NEEDED more than this in my life. Reaching out is hard. I need more people...I just need to make better choices in choosing them. In not having people...it is hard to be alone especially when another crisis arises and I have leaned that life is all about learning and how you frame your thoughts and choose your actions. I am not there yet....and that is my next big life choice.....getting back to life and accepting the cards i have been dealt with. I will continue to use the forum but really......I have had so many changes in my life my healing has halted and I just need things to calm down for a while first.

How true. It is wonderful that this forum exists, as one can learn a vast amount. It is reassuring to see that one's experience is not so unique, but others are going through a similar trial, or have gone through it. But eventually, I hope that I will not need this place as I do now.

Question? Jim's comments about Evie leaving the forum? Where is that and what has happened?
