Do You Offer Responses as to Why a Post Does Not Pass Moderation?

I submitted an introduction 2 nights ago as I thought this would be a great resource of information and tool to help my recovery. But as your strict moderation seems to have not let through my original intro and a couple other posts, I don't see how I could evaluate how I'm contributing to the forum with out feedback from at least a Mod or Admin. I agree with your system but it is flawed, just ignoring posts or deleting them instead of allowing them to go through moderation; has in turn triggered my anxiety and anger. This in turn has made me reevaluate why I would want to use this site.

Any response would be appreciated but if I don't receive one, then I will consider that I am unwanted here and move on.

Hi, all your threads and posts have gone live, you can check by looking within your user profile what posts and threads you have made. Your introduction you mention, would that be the one that is sitting at: http://www.ptsdforum.org/thread7344.html?

It can take time for your posts to go live, even a couple of days at times depending on things going on. You must remember that we do not sit here waiting for a moderated member to post so we can review it and send it live. We have a life also....

Hope that answers yours and other moderated members questions about this aspect. This information is covered in the FAQ section, registration outline and other policies. If something is removed or viewed as inappropriate, it will just be changed with a note attached to the post/thread, or if deleted a PM will be sent to you.

Thank you for the quick response and letting my posts go "live". I'd like to apologize if it seemed like I came across as rude.

I understand that the forum staff have lives as well and with the extra levels that you go through to ensure the safety of the board, I am sure they are busy.

very lucky , im still in moderation. For some reason it annoys me. Its crazy that it does.
