At work they were putting down the Conflict Resolution Policy & Practice Principles which are referred to as the 6 R's. I thought I would share it here.
The six R's for dealing with conflict resolution are:
Responsiveness - taking the conflict as being important and doing something about it
Relationship - aim to protect it
Respect - respect the views and opinions of all those involved
Responsibility - all involved have some responsibility to the situation and each much own their own part
Regret - apology is important
Reconciliation - mending the relationship. Resolution is only achieved when there is a reconciliation between parties.
