Hello All - Struggling With PTSD for Years

Hello All,

My name is Ian and I have been struggling with PTSD for several years now.
I am trying to move forward with the help of a great Doctor but it has taken me a long time to admit that I am ill and need help. I have lost all my friends and family as a result of the condition. I am a former Royal Marine and Police Officer and am still trying to come to terms with the fact that I can never go back to being that man again !
I will be exploring the site but am a little scared to be honest as I have never discussed any of my issues outside of hospital. Oh well here goes.
