| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | Posted 10-04-2008 at 09:47 AM by 2quilt When you are sad, ...I will get you drunk and help you plot revenge
against the creep who made you sad.
When you are blue, ...I'll try to dislodge whatever is choking you.
When you smile, ...I'll know you finally got "some".
When you are scared, ...I will rag you about it every chance I get.
When you are worried, ...I will tell you horrible stories about how much
worse it could be and to quit whining.

| | Posted 10-04-2008 at 09:41 AM by 2quilt This morning, while I was minding my own business, the Prince of
Darkness came 'round to give me one of his irregular briefings. It looked like
the postman, but I knew it was him because the cream curdled in my coffee when
he came up the walk.
Before he could say anything, I asked, "What the hell did you do to my
hibiscus? The leaves fell off and it looks like a skeleton."
Satan pulled out a cigarette, lit it on his hand... | | | Comments 0

Marry a man/woman you love to talk to. As you get older, their conversational skills will be as important as any other.
Don't believe all you hear, spend all you have or sleep all you want.
When you say, "I love you," mean it.
When you say, "I'm sorry," look the person in the eye.
Be engaged at least six months before you get married.
Believe in love at first sight.
