Default Midnite's Mental Imagery

WARNING: If you plan on submitting your own mental imagery interview for assessment, DO NOT read the proceeding first, instead fill out your own interview first, then read these, so your current mental image is not skewed, resulting in a possible inaccurate emotional state being returned to you.

This is an imaginery journey down a road. Take in the sights, sounds and colours, just like a video camera recording all that lies surrounding you. Survey the scene, noticing whatis far off in the distance, the background surrounds, the weather, the season and a total image of what you view. Feel the ground beneath your feet. Try to visualize it as a picture on a canvas, but with movement, sound, colour and emotion. You are the surveyor on this journey. Draw your journey on paper if you desire, as it often shows clearer results, then attach your drawing via snapshot or scan to your post.

Q1. What colour is the road?
I can't find any road or path, only a huge empty deserted land. I see no one or any living thing.

Q2. What texture is the road?
Though I am not sure where I am heading to but I keep walking forward hoping to get away from this dusty, sandy, dry, gloomy and isolated place. There isn't any sunshine here either.

Q3. How solid is the road?
Soft. I keep falling as I stumble upon the soft sand every now and then. I have to drag my feet out many times as they sank into the knee deep sand making my journey extremely tough and exhausted.

You continue walking and come to a river that must be crossed. There before you is the river; the size and depth are up to you. You cannot go around it but must imagine a way to cross it. Whatever you need to cross the river is already within your mind, just imagine seeing yourself do it.

Q4. How do you cross the river?
There is a mixed feeling of fear and hope seeing the river in front of me. I fear to walk across it yet I know there is hope on the other side of the river.

Q5. What does the water look like?
The water is calm but not very clean or clear as I could hardly see the bottom. Keep me wondering whether is it safe to walk across it? Any danger awaiting or how deep is the water? Question and question running inside my head?

Q6. How fast is the water current?
The water is chilling cold. Looking calm on the surface but fast current beneath, dragging my feet along. The stronger the current beneath as I reached the mid of the river.

Q7. Is there anything in the water? If so, what?
Very rocky in the middle of the river. I need to balance myself carefully stepping onto this sharp and slippery rocks. I fell and cut myself a number of times on my feet and hands. I'm all wet and cold.

You have crossed the river and continue walking. You come to a house. Take a good look at the house. Notice the impression it makes on you.

Q8. What colour is the house?
Bright white in colour. Seeing sun shining over it gives me a sense of new hope after the long journey.

Q9. What condition is the house in?
I feel safe and comfortable inside it. I see a beautiful garden through a window. I see beautiful flowers blooming, green grass, I hear birds singing and children playing under the tree with lots of laughter and energy.

Q10. Does anyone live in the house? If so, who?
No sure. It sounds quite and peaceful.

We continue forward in our minds journey and come to an open field. A cup is on the ground, and we stop to examine it. The cup can be of any size, shape, colour and description. Focus on it's look, condition and contents.

Q11. What colour is the cup?
Crystal clear.

Q12. What condition is the cup in?
Light but perfectly made of crystal. Sparkling brightly under the sun. I feel my heart pounding as I pick it up. More of an excitement. I couldn't belive the beauty lies in front of my eyes.

Q13. Is there anything in the cup? If so, what?
Yes, the word "Hope" engraved in gold inside the cup.

You continue walking down the road and come to something blocking your path. It stops you in your tracks and prevents you from going forward. This is an obstacle.

Q14. What is the obstacle, and please describe it in detail?
My obstacle is the my fear of the dark sky and stormy weather ahead. I back off seeing the storm and tunder in front. I stand there holding myself tight crying in the rain, reluctant to make another step forward. I am afraid to get lost in the dark and stormy weather again. I fear being alone in the dark.

Q15. What do you see beyond the obstacle?
Clear sky, a serene land.

Now you have had a break, go back to every question and look at your response. Try and find what you feel that your mind presented the image it did. Explain colours you chose, textures, water, cup, solids, liquids, space, objects, people, anything and everything that you wrote from your projected image, try and find what you feel to why you have that image. Don't look hard at things, instead try and look for the easy answers, as they are often the correct one's. Don't attempt to find something that isn't present, just look at each aspect for its absolute simplicity.

This is not an absolute, but something you must do in order to try and self analyse yourself. This is important. Please answer what you can, and simply define if you cannot find an emotion to a response you gave.
--------------------------

Q1. I feel "lost" and stranded without direction.
Q2. I'm trying to get away from my dreadful pass.
Q3. I still feel trap.
Q4. I need to cross and face the obstacle myself.
Q5.
Q6. Things and path don't look as good as they do.
Q7. Obstacles
Q8. White is pure without evil.
Q9. I find solace and peace there.
Q10.
Q11.
Q12.
Q13.
Q14.
Q15.

Default Self analyse - complete

Before I continued to fill up the missing part, I do have a question in mind.
Shall it be answered when one is feeling extremely low? Most likely I'll give
more positive answers during a better day. Just wondering.

Q1. I feel "lost" and stranded without direction.
Q2. I'm trying to get away from my dreadful past.
Q3. I still feel trap.
Q4. I need to cross and face the obstacle myself.
Q5. I fear to step into any doubtful situation. I fear to fall into another trap.
Q6. Things and path don't look as good as they do. The world is cold. I am afraid but I need to get going. I need to be strong to hold myself up.
Q7. Obstacles. The battle to set myself free is so tough.
Q8. White is pure without evil.
Q9. I find solace and peace here. There is happiness and life.
Q10.Not sure. It sounds quite and peaceful. No triggers to look out for any dangers.
Q11. Things becomes clearer.
Q12. I am excited to find a better way to cope.I see hope.
Q13. It contains"Hope" that I have been searching for.
Q14. I am afraid the trauma itself will repeat again, be it real or in my dream.I am so afraid history will repeat again.
Q15. Clear, Calm and peaceful life.

Midnite, I have a request. Could you please draw this mental image of yours onto a piece of paper, A4 or similar, either scan it in as an image or take a shot of it with a digital camera or webcam and upload it as an image thanks, or even send to me personally via email and I will attach it. Please use colours to draw, so I can see exactly what your cognition is with this.

Midnite, I am not going to process your interpretation above as I believe it is quite false in nature. You are asked simple questions in which only require an immediate simple response, none of which you have complied. Instead, you have placed concious, well thought and pre-conceived answers to the questions. Your lack of cooperation invalidates the results. You are off the limits provided by the Roerich Psychodynamic Inventory for fakeness. This was also confirmed via the interpreted image forwarded by yourself in relation to drawing your road interview.

I will add another theory to this, which could be the case, but you will confirm or deny it.

Can you tell me what you did in your day from waking up when doing this imagery?

Can you tell me what you did in your day from waking up when doing this imagery?
Since I have been having sleepless night lately, I woke up at 2pm that day. I had a sandwich and flipped through the newspapers. Then I switched on the computer around 3pm to check on emails and continue to read on some postings here. I read your reply on my diary asking me to take up the Mental Imagery questionnaires so I thought ok, I’ll give it a trial.

So I printed the questions out and tried to fill in the blanks on my bed ( I was tired of insufficient sleep). I tried out the imagination as instructed. It was real hard at the beginning because I failed to see the road even in my first image. I searched through the image thoroughly; looking everywhere still I couldn’t find any road and path. Then I thought, I should be truthful in answering, so I just jot down whatever images came across my mind as I went along. It took me about an hour to finish those questions as I was getting detail information about the whole picture. It was like real, with all the senses. (Then this could be because I have been learning and practicing mental visualization to achieve seeing image is as real as possible in my mind, a screen you can call it.) Being so in depth into it, I lost count with time. Each time I let the whole image run before stopping to jot down information. I was tired, so I went for a nap around 5pm after posting the 1st part.

Then when I woke up 2 hours later, I continued with the second part of self-analyzing. I couldn’t find immediate answers to what I had written earlier. It was a tough task at that moment. I couldn’t answer to some questions, that’s why 2nd part was interrupted a few times and I finally finish answering them only on the next afternoon.

In fact, I wanted to give up the 2nd part because it was squeezing me real hard of my time and energy. Then I forced myself to finish it, as I never like any unfinished task.

This interview is not accurate of what the basic road interview often presents, and has deviated the scope of the basic road interview. This interview expresses the possibility of psychosis, severe dysfunction, psychotic depression and such severe trauma that possible dissociation has occurred during the interview process. All or nothing thinking is present.

The questions where not answered to this road interview, instead midnite has given her own mental perception as dreamed at the time, instead of focusing upon the questions asked. The only reason I have posted this, is to show that mental imagery can be used beyond many expected means, though this will not occur again. Secondly, it is shown that Midnite is recommended to seek help immediately for the above reasons.

It is highly recommended that you seek psychiatric help immediately.

Life

You feel your life is highly unappreciated, depreciated even, one of isolation, loneliness and abandonment. You hide a very deep secret within your life. You feel possibly like you live within a sandpit, awaiting to be swallowed by life itself.

Sexual Relationships

You apply much caution towards sexual relationships, demonstrating outward deception in sexual issues, unpleasant, with loss of control and victimization that you are aware off.

Support Systems

You needed honesty and trust from your support systems whilst growing up, but did not get it, thus you demonstrate a very low self esteem.

Commitment

You have a fantasy perception of all being good and right in committed relationships. You accept treatment at whatever cost by anyone as long as you are not ignored or abandoned. You put up with how you are treated, no matter how badly. You present severe denial of being hurt in committed relationships, and are possibly being hurt even now.

Most Significant Problem

You present a severe victimization scene, playing over and over of being hurt intimately by a powerful person. This is a secret you keep.

It is highly recommended that you seek psychiatric help immediately.
