Default pot or not to pot?

that is the question....

the only smoking I have tried is pot. I too hoped it would relax me. It didn't! it made me really upset/frightened/freaked out. I think it just exaggerates what you already are at the time. I wouldn't recommend it at all.

Anthony, you'd be better off eating it as it could get you hooked on smoking again.

Pot is helpful for many people, but I know what you mean Claire. It makes me suicidal and paranoid, so I can't touch the stuff at all. Actually my psychiatrist said anyone under the age of 25 shouldn't use it at all, because apparently it can bring on drug induced psychosis in young people who are susceptible. There's been many studies on it, and it's relation to schizophrenia in the 16-24 age group. Not that it causes psychosis, but there's mounting evidence that it triggers schizophrenia in people with a genetic predisposition to the illness. My cousin with schizophrenia had his first psychotic break after smoking pot.

Thanks Claire and Evie for your insight on:pot:

I seem to come across a lot of positive reports and such within the internet on smoking pot as a sort of medicine. I definately don't need any reactions like what y'all described. Oh well... hopefully the Zoloft I just got will help.
