Just a quick update.....

Nugget is staying in hospital for another 2 weeks.

He had a MRI done earlier this week & his doc told Nugget to tell me that yes, they did find a brain. LOL All is clear in that department.

I'm sure you will here about his adventures when he returns.

Hi everyone

Ok, I'm after some advice about the best thing I can do to help hubby when he comes home.

The doc said we will do it slowly, come home for a day & see how he feels. If that goes well for him, overnight at home. You get the idea.

I am just worried that after getting all that rest that coming home will be like a kick in the guts to him again. Then again I don't want to wrap him up in cotton wool either.

Any input would be welcomed. I know he misses us & we miss him but at the end of the day his health is important & I want to do whatever I can to help him with that.

Be there for him with out smothering him. He is going to need to take it at his own pace. I remember the first days out of the hospital for me was a hugh challenge. My wife was there but let me deal with things on my own until she felt she had to intervene. I was not grateful at the time but am grateful now because my kids noticed the changes in me. Keep a close eye on him for the first few days especially and keep telling him you love him. That helped me out. Best of luck to you and keep us posted on how htings are going.

Thanks Pitt Bull.

That is very helpful & I will be gentle with him. I don't want to send him back there after a day back at home with me, LOL!

Fingers crossed, he will be home in a couple of days.

Nugget will be home sometime today (happy dance!)

He has a few doc appt in the next few days but I'm sure he will be back sharing his adventures with you soon.

I would like to thank everyone for their support that you have given me during this time. Words can't thank you all enough. I'm grateful to know such wonderful people.
