My computer ended up to be infected with a nasty virus, and fixing had required re-installation of the whole operating system. To do so, I had to call to the company I bought the computer from: Dell. The technician was supposed to give me instruction on the phone.
I have a profound computer stupidity, to say the least. To be more correct, I am simply afraid of computers, as still can not get that they are totally real. It is beyond my understading how the whole thing works, and at the same time it is so important is our lives, so I am just trying to get used to them, a little.
The guy who instructed me over the phone was absolutely amazing. I was misunderstanding him, I was asking stupid questions, I was losing my patience, I was trying to boil my potatoes and to walk my dog and take my hubby's phone call while the re-installation was going on. Pedro, the tech, was very calm, and kept explaining me the very basic things. As a result, the everything was done successfully. I had told Pedro, that I am just amazed with his ability to handle such difficult clients, who act as totally retarded and do not understand the simplest things.
OMG, I just can't imagine myself calmly and politely explaining a client in the animal hospital that a animal in a state of ethyl alcohol intoxication must be hospitalized, while they are telling me that people don't need doctors when drunk!
I know Pedro the Tech will not read this post... But anyways! I just appreciated this guy SOOOO deeply!!!
