citypersonof2 is on a distinguished road
Default Well I faced the Dragon head on.

Well I did it. I travelled to my previous state to face the ex.
It went better then I expected but I must go again next year to deal with the rest. I am having difficulty dealing with this.
I am having anxiety attacts at the thought of someone else making decisions ove me and my kids. One time they had made a horrible decision that traumatized my kids for the rest of their lives. I wont disclose it here for their own privacy but they were damaged emotionally. Watching this occur and not being able to do anything about it destroyed me inside. I will be wary of any kind of 'court" figure forever.
I am almost at my goal but so far away from it and it is killing me that being so close I may not make it and all the work and sacrifice that I have done would have been for nothing.

Great job!!!!! You did it once, so the next time might be easier. You will have time to heal and hopefully thing will go easier.

As far as letting someone else make decisions for your kids....Yes that can be very hard to deal with. The only advice I can give you is TRY not to get upset...You only have control over what YOU have control of. If the decision is in the hands of the court, there is nothing you can do so worrying will only make you sicker.

Take care of yourself, try and stay healthy, work hard at getting better. Working on you is important. I wish you the best......and I hope that things come out good for all of you..
