Welcome Sarah !

You have come to the right place, lots of info sharing, lots of understanding and support here !

My bf has PTSD, he was in the United Nations and was in a mission during the Rwanda genocide. You say your husband hasn't seen anyone in a year now. I am sorry to hear that, since he will have to continue in order to be able to manage this disorder. And good for you, for trying to understand this disorder in order to be able to help in as much as you can !

Good luck !

I was about to welcome Sarah myself, however I then noticed the date of her original post, which was September of 2006. She has not been on the forum since August of 2007. Perhaps though with having her thread revived she will return, that would be lovely, as we can always use more carers here upon the forum!
