Jen,

That is good news. Be prepared for a bit of a fight with regard and hightened anxiety with regard to the course but it is well worth the effort. The first appointment with Martha at the Mater I almost had to drag Anthonys but in there. Now that would have been a funny sight........I am normally (definately not at the moment) about 50 -52 kgs wringing wet, Anthony comes in around the 85-90 kg mark. I got him through the door by holding his hand, telling him that he has been through the worst of it. He's suffered the trauma first hand, this time I was with him and we were simply going to an appt. He continued to tell me that he didn't want to go but we went and it was the best thing that we ever did. I guess it made it easier for him because I wasn't trying to push him so much as encourage him. I wanted then, what I still want now........to see him less troubled by his trauma, more willing to accept my help and a better life for all of us.

Also the course is not just for him and it would be in your best interests to attend as much of the course as you can. I know that you are running your own business so that will make it hard but do try. You will get so much from it and it will be good for you to establish some other support networks.

Anyhow its a real step in the right direction. I hope it all goes really well for you. Big hugs.

Evening Ladies (Jen & Kerrie-Ann)
Is the clinic the same as the imageary(?) exposure therapy that hubby is doing?
Congrats on your hubby going to his appt today! Hope you are well.

Hi Jods it seems to be like a course it is 24 days all up only 6 people at a time they have
Psychiatrists, Social workers, Psychologists, Therapists and exercise and nutrition experts running the program. I really feel that if we can get through this it will have to help.
