Default What Are Tags?

With the most recent upgrade, a new feature of the forum is the ability to apply what is called "tags" to a thread. A tag is a set of specific keywords relevant to the thread topic. What that means, is that tags are given higher precedence when searched internally using the forum search, so instead of a topic being reduced in importance because oh.... lets say, it gets off topic, the post content doesn't reflect the majority of the content because users make posts in between pages of it that have little to do with the content, then tags take over and help that topic get shown higher prominence in search results for its relevance to what the user is searching.

That is about as easy as I can put it.... hope it helps. When you create a new thread right below the text box is another text box called "tags" which explains how to add them, being "," comma separated, ie:

Tags could be: My right to vent, venting, frustration, overwhelmed

Enjoy.
