| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Now that I've gotten over my relapse, I had some time to put things in perspective. I want to say that to all the molested victims here, I am sorry if I angered you by "overreacting" to what happend, I know it is nothing compared to what you have been through. I myself am a victim of several sexual crimes, but not until after I was 9. I don't know if my initial reaction was so strong because of my PTSD, or because I just want to protect my girls from EVERYTHING ; ) |

You are Not "overreacting" you are PROTECTIVE & I admire that! I was in a different situation at the time (with my little 3 y/o sister) but, I have a 2 y/o son now who has never been victimized in any way & I plan on keeping it that way!!! So, I'm sure I would react Exactly the same way you did whether PTSD effects our reactions or not! Don't even feel bad & I'm sure you didn't anger anyone here that's for sure! |

| | No one can ever over react to a possible child molestation imagined or real. The best interest was for the child, and everyone in the forum at least, understands that.
Tiana, that woman should be put away forever. But nuts do exist, even Hazel, the nut, get it, Hazelnut, lol, I am getting lots of laughs out of my boyfriends little girl by saying don't tell everyone that Hazel is a nut, she is crazy, she laughs so loud and says loudly, Hazel's a nut!
