| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | |

| | Email Problem? I think you said you were going to email me when I joined. I have a terrible problem with hacking and especially phishing. I didn't see an email from you, but I didn't have any problem logging in today.
I just wanted to alert you in case an email from you bounced back. |

| | Welcome to the forum Rat, lovely to have you. I will let Anthony answer your question, I simply wanted to welcome you. I do recall that I never received a confirmation email either, though I was expecting one. |

| | Welcome Rat. I turned it off, as I do not require people to confirm email addresses. Your welcome is sent through Private Message. |

| | Relieved I'm happy to hear that. It's a good policy. Sometimes it takes an hour to go through all the stuff just to get access to a site. The technical sites are the worst, because usually you just want to ask a quick question and will never return again.
Now I feel more secure. With this phishing, I'm never sure if I'm on a legitimate site or with the bad guys.
Where do you pick up private messages? I couldn't find it. I'm so cognitively impaired by the PTSD that I could look right at it and not see it.
Thanks |
