Soulmate of a hero is on a distinguished road
Default Help Me Help - Research and Scientific Report

Hi

I am a soulmate - soon to be spouse - of a hero on the battlefield of life, sadly suffering from PTSD due to him being a hero on a different battlefield.
Because of what he is and his experiences, and my own, I set out on a long journey to research PTSD following military experiences because I had all my excuses for not doing all I am capable of to use my academic resources to help people suffering from something I only too well can relate to.

I wonder if anyone in this forum would like to help me, as I attempt to produce a scientific report on the subject for my university. I intend to go beyond the label and look at what PTSD means on an individual level - the changes in conditions that strains a person much like having to physically stretch beyond one's capacity would cause harm and pain.

I have some questions I would like to ask anyone willing to help me out. It is all informal, anonymous and voluntary - all I ask for are personal opinions and experiences, and honest critique of my own opinions and assumptions.

We can chat here over mail or - if space and time allows - over coffee

Please, contact me in some way.

Best
Soulmate of a hero
