You're right about that Anthony! Sometimes I throw my hands up and give up, albeit temporarily. I really had to back off being so involved since it brought on so much stress. The kids' therapist told me for a time, last yr, that I had to completely stop ASAP being their primary caregiver and my husband just had to arrange his schedule and take over. It was good for a little while, but forget surviving without him working two jobs, unfortunately. So that did not last long. I am coping better now than a yr ago at least. I try to tune their rages out as best as I can if possible. My Rx doc told me to not even think of getting even a part time job , she felt I could not do it. I am too tired anyway - as I see some others are on another thread. The low energy really gets me too.

Thanks for the welcome, and most of all, thanks for this place!

April, your welcome. I would highly suggest you grab your kids and go for a walk daily... whilst you may think this will take energy, it actually produces energy for your body. Do it daily and you will find yourself quite energetic within your days, relaxed from walking, and other benefits. Kids don't limit us doing this.... go to the park every day even so the kids can run for an hour or so....

I agree with your physician.... don't even try and get any type of job presently. You need to heal trauma, work through it, this also just needs time... which you cannot rush, then work towards getting back into something for yourself.
