My best advice is to confront your trauma. Write it down with all of the details and how you feel about it. The more you supress your trauma the more nightmares you will have.

Face it, Trace it, Then erase it!

Did you have the dream first and then this happened. I thought the dream you had was related to your trauma.

Peace in your healing

Sally,

What I got out of your post was that you went to therapy, and some man came in, pointed his finger and said bang, bang, bang???? Am I correct???

If this is what happened, I know it must have been scary for all of you, but you have to try and remember that he probably has issues too. People that go to therapy have issues, some may be more sever than others.

Maybe he was just joking around too, some people use humor to cover up how they really feel.

As frightening as it was, you really should just face that fear and go to your next appointment. Not everything in live can be avoided, we have to just face stuff that is unpleasant.
