hey. ive taken trazodone for a couple years now. it works most of the time. if i am really upset, it calms me down but doesn't always make me sleep. most of the time, i take 75 mg. it works best without making me groggy in the morning. a higher dose tends to make it hard for me to get up in the mornings.
the most important thing about getting it to work right is to take it with a small amount of something FATTY (very important) so it will break down. i take mine and eat a tsp. of peanut butter, just a little as it is late.
one of the less side effects, no addiction drugs. you have more control over things than it does, lol. hope it works for you.
