Default Wife of Vietnam Vet

Hello. I came upon this forum while trying to find info about PTSD. I get very frustrated with my husband at times, and was trying to find ways to cope. I have already read a lot of useful information here.

My husband and I met many years ago, but only until 3 years ago did I know him well enough for him to tell me about his PTSD. 25 years ago, we had a very casual relationship, only seeing each other once in awhile. This actually continued for 6 years. We eventually lost touch and after 17 years ran into each other again. We started dating on a regular basis and fell deeply in love. We got married one year ago. He does get therapy through the Vet Center, but does not attend as much as he used to.

I don't want to get into the issues that I am facing with him right now, just wanted to introduce myself and say thank you.

Hello Lynn, and Welcome to the forum. As you've said, you've read a lot of useful information already within the forum. There is lots more, I imagine to read as well. The Carers section is particularly good, IMHO, and if you have any specific questions to ask others, please feel free and do so.

Again, Welcome to the forum and glad you found this site.

Hope
