Default New - Anxious Yet Relieved

Hello,

I've always had sympathy for those with ptsd, and now have come to the realization that I have long had many of its symptoms due to several intense traumas; hit by a car at eight years old, was raped at fourteen, abandoned by my whole family (literally) at sixteen, was in a 6.9 earthquake and lost job because of it (at 19), was subject to violence by one boyfriend, last year (terrifying and damaging).

I used to have serious trouble keeping a job for more than a couple of months, but have gotten to where I can work without problems, but otherwise still have several symptoms...

Anyway, I feel relieved because now I understand why I've had these symptoms and now can start doing something about it. I'm glad to have found this forum.

Still feeling anxious though, frequently irritated and angry, have lots of trouble breathing correctly and also trusting anyone, and feel my future to be a big blank (but have solid goals).

Hoping someone will greet me here.....
