Default My Intro - Violent Crime

Got triggered and I'm trying to deal with the anger. Sleep is better for me, but sporadic. Hate the deer in the headlights feelings, and the numbness, and the Anger that follows. I know myself well enough to know when I'm not in a good place to be around others. Take Propananol as needed, when I can catch it in time. Otherwise drink too much...if I don't, and that ain't pretty...not combinded w/ the anger. Mostly hurt myself now, stay pretty isolated, although I do reach out.

The history- start with childhood and add that I was the vicitim of a violent crime and the panic attacks started with the death of my husband who was a vet 5 tours nam, was so glad to read that you could catch PTSD from that alone! He died of a massive heart attack at home, never felt so helpless in my life...it has affected both of the childern as well.

It sucks. The condition itself. All the good stuff inside me is still there, but when the triggers come...well I guess I don't need to preach to the choir huh.

Hugs to all of us seeking answers and help...
Gladly
