Hi Jim,
Have you gotten any help from the VA? Maybe talked to someone at the VA about how you are feeling?

Welcome to the forum and take care of yourself.

Welcome to the forum, Jim. You have come to the right place! Nobody should have to go through what you had to do. I thank you for your service and the terrible task you had to do, I thank you and I am certain that the families of those who died thank you.

The VA has actually made my PTSD worse. I am a 100% service-connected disabled Desert Storm vet. You have probably attempted to get help from the VA since the seventies. If that worked for you, get in that line again and get help. The government owes you more than that.

You should also hang around this forum, go get psych help from a civilian if the VA is not a good option for you. You have held on to this pain for long enough, Jim. I am sincerely happy to know that you are among us, and that you have reached the point to get help for your PTSD. We didn't have the internet back then. It's a wonderful resource to talk to folks like yourself from many countries.
