Default Hello - Photographer & PTSD

Hello, not sure where to start but thought it polite to introduce myself. I'm a photojournalist and filmaker in England. I was diagnosed with PTSD May last year, after a very bad emotional breakdown. My symptoms started after covering my first war in Uganda, way back in 1989 and instead of doing something about them I just found other wars to go to, Croatia, Bosnia, Sudan etc etc., also road traffic accidents, crime, and all the other nasty things life throws at you and newspapers want pictures of. I guess its all caught up with me now and my head has finally told me to do something about it. I've been receiving CBT for the last 8 months which has really helped. Still a long way to go, but the future looks bright. Thank you for having me and sharing all of this.

Steve
