Default Just Found This Lovely Place!

Hi everyone. :)

I've been looking for a few months now for a community for PTSD sufferers and I'm glad I found this place. Y'all seem very open, honest and it's nice to finally be somewhere where I can let my hair down a bit.

I was diagnosed with PTSD a little less than a year a go, three months after a serious car accident. It was a multi-rollover and though I wasn't seriously injured - in fact, I had but one scratch - the psychological effects weren't so pleasant. I've also had the common "get over it" speeches from my family and friends. I hope I can someday.

Anyhow, thought I'd introduce myself. :)

Welcome to the forum.....It's very sad that people without PTSD can not understand. But I guess that no one can truly understand unless they had it.

I'm really glad for you that you are dealing with it now. Its been 12 years since i took my XR3i for a flying lesson and I wish I had acknowledged my problems earlier. Onwards and upwards!
