| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | Thanks! It's always nice to hear someone "from away" express their appreciation for this little, insignificant place. I hope you make it back here someday! |

WOW....what I wouldn't give to live there.... | Okay, what the hell or where is PEI? I'm an Aussie stuck on my own big ass continent and the only places I've been to are Bali (awesome!!) and East Timor (for work and I kept telling them that they dropped me on the wrong island.........should have been B...ali not Dili!!). Mind you I love this place and you wouldn't get me to live anywhere else in a million years. |

| | Yes, Cookie, it is the island where Anne of Green Gables is set. In fact, you can (or you used to be able to) go see the house where the movie series was shot.
PEI is absolutely beautiful. Went there on my honeymoon with my first husband. Took a ferry over from Nova Scotia, drove the entire island, spent the night in Charlottetown (yes, I was a tourist!)....fell in love with it more than I fell in love with my husband...LOL (guess that's why he's my ex?)
Would give anything to get back up there...the tidal changes are out of this world and the views are absolutely breathtaking, not to mention the contrast between the green fields (of potatoes, I think) and the red clay soil they have.
Ahhhh....to relieve wonderful memories.... |
