| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | More than anything ( 6 yr. old daughter ) wanted to sit down and instruct me in some Arts & Crafts projects. So we did and she showed me how to fold paper into a sail, then into a house, then in half, cut up the side and.... babooom!.. open it and there you have it a cross. We decorated our crosses with creating stained glass illus. and all this other creative awesome drawing & design. Watching her enjoy it so much and getting into myself was the best, best...Best part of it all. ...... She is such a sweetie pie. |

| | First crack at this so bear with me.
Today I paid three bills I had been putting off. I ordered real satelite TV. Hubby finally installed the two medicine cabinets for our bathrooms and hooked my computer onto my own phoneline so people can call while I'm online. Now I am going to vacuum for the first time in a couple of weeks. (Been sweeping, no carpets) and get my but out of this office chair.
You guys have been a great help. thanks JoannaG |

| | I made my bed this morning.
It may not seem like much, but for the last several months the only days I've had the energy to make my bed have Saturday, Sunday and Monday. By Tuesday, it's all I can do to shower, dress and make it out the door for work.
This morning I was talking to my husband while he got ready for work (I was waiting for the shower to free up) and before I realized what I was doing, I had made the bed.
Talk about surprised!!!!! | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
