| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | This is a few days late. Wednesday night after work, I rescued a dog. Boy was he cute. I found him on the reserve, outside of where I buy my smokes. He was soaking wet, freezing and terrified. No one there knew where he came from, so I lured him to me and put him in my car. It was funny, within 1/2 a mile he was bouncing all over the place. Quite happy to be warm and getting petted while I drove. I went to the vets and they found the owners in about 15 minutes. I waited there for over an hour for those, lazy SOB's to come and get their dog. Not even a thank-you. LOL, the vet assitant and I vented after the owner left and I let them know if that cute puppy every shows up alone again, to call me and I'll take him. My good deed for the week.

| | Alright, I've got to post somewhere since right now my number of posts is 666. Not the best number...so...I'm thinking, what did I do good today? Well, for the first time ever, I taught a boys gymnastics class tonight. They were awesome to work with! Amazing how seven year olds don't give a sh*t, but by the time they're ten/eleven, they try so dang hard to impress! Not only did I get to coach them and teach them a few skills, I was taught how to spot many different moves that girls don't get to do.
The other Good thing? We now have 0.00 dollars of credit debt. We have all kinds of other debt (secured), but we are now committed to never having credit debt again. I swear credit companies are run by satan. This is an amazing commitment for my hubs and I right before the Christmas Season. It seems crooked, but we would put presents on credit, and spend Christmas money on paying off those gifts....not the best way..hehehe. So this year, hopefully, we can treat ourselves a little. (I want a bra that fits!!!! and my hubs wants a wii.)

Reason: changed the meaning of a whole sentence by changing one letter from not, to now

BTW-congrats on the no credit debt. Me and the hubster are working towards the same goal. Man...it's easier to wrack it up than pay it off! |

| | Marlene, we just got a home eq. loan to pay it off. There was no other way for us to do it. Now that it's 0, it's gonna stay that way! This is causing me to be very creative for Christmas this year. I crochet so I'll do some scarves. And I paint, so a couple paintings.....and making a scrapbook. Might take less money, but wow, it takes more time! |

| | A little self-pampering I was so tired, muscles ached and I felt so bad yesterday (I believe the technical term is hammered sh*t! ) that I called a local day spa and was able to get a massage appointment for after work. It's been a couple of months since my last massage and man did I need it!!!
When I got home, it was almost 8:30-hubby was asleep on the couch (yesterday was his first day back to work...he was wuped). Got him up and we both crawled into bed and went to sleep.
Great sleep and no dreams!!!! |
