| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | I actually found enough energy to do the dishes and mop the kitchen floor. I felt really good afterwards like I was able to accomplish some thing and not have to worry about getting crap for it. |

| | Yesterday, Terry (who reads this site) was feeling playful-- it was good to see him like this again. Last night he was "giving the dog a shower," & I was so happy, I couldn't resist doing something we used to do alot... I reached over the top of the shower & poured a bunch of cold water on him! He howled for a minute; but when he got out he was smiling. I'm waiting for payback! |

| | "And you'll get it, TIG!!!" LOLOL!
I taught a seven year old boy how to do a back one with a full twist. You should have seen his face when he landed that! He said, "I did it! It worked! What you said!" LOL, sometimes, I feel like I'm on top of the world... |

| | I am cleaning house, doing work here, other things... basically turning the house upside down and doing all those little things that bug the shit out of me. You know the one's... you look at them, know it needs to be cleaned or fixed, but say "stuff it, I'll do it later". Later often doesn't come... but it has today for me. |

Wasn't too happy with that many people, but I got through it. |

| | Good stuff veiled, excellent to hear actually. Get yourself into things, use some of that pent up energy and emotion and do constructive things with it, instead of letting it develop into a depressive mood. Well done... | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
