| | Notices | Welcome to PTSD Forum. Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a life threatening, debilitating disorder that can break down a sufferer’s body through anxiety and stress. Further it poses a significant suicide risk resulting from the brains neurological imbalance and chemical depression. Sufferers often live in denial, thus this community is aimed at helping PTSD sufferers help themselves through others experiences, guidance and education. We are here for the sufferer, spouse and families surrounding PTSD. Spouses and family are too often forgotten in this equation, and often they receive all the worst that PTSD has to offer. If you're involved in any way with PTSD, get registered and help yourself now. Non-active members will eventually be deleted. If you are not a sufferer, carer or someone within the mental health industry, and active, then there is little reason for you to be a member of this forum. Non-active members with zero posts are deleted periodically during the year. | | |

| | My hubbie is home for the weekend from his training! My son Dustin was here for the past few days to celebrate his birthday, which is actually today, he is 19 now. The boys had some friends spend the night last night to hang out and play "Halo". Sat and played cars with my youngest for about an hour this morning and then went out to get the mail. I got the most beautiful card from Marilyn S. (I believe she made it) and if she did, the woman has talent and I will treasure it. So far a rather nice day.... |

| | I called my buddy today.
I made fresh loaves of bread.
No broken bones out of the toddler and as accident prone as she was today that was an accomplishment! |

| | I told jokes to my Mom about the Uk [tv show] the Thunderbirds, and the silly jokes that people tell about the show. We had a good laugh.
Good Day,

| | Got to Actually Work on My Back Hoe Wow! My Hubby finally taught me how to run the old back hoe he bought for me with our income tax return two years ago. Oh! Man! What a freakin' RUSH! It was more fun than I ever dreamed it would be. We are currently working on a bigger garden spot, so we are clearing brush and moving dirt around to build the garden bed and get rid of the rocks. It will be about a 150' by 100' garden when we are done. I can't wait to run it again. he said I did a real good job for my first time. Its a 1966 Ford 4000 tractor with a front loader and back hoe. I've been working on restoring it. I still got alot of work to go. There are some hydrolic leaks and a slight slip in the transmission. It will be a booger of a job on the old transmission, but the hydrolic fixes will be easier. My hubby is good with mechanical things and he's teaching me alot of stuff so we'll be working on it together when we get the garden job done. Yum! Yum! Old fashion canned fresh vegies!

| | I studied for my Cree language exam on Thursday and didn't have an anxiety attack about how much I had to learn by then, but focused on making it a game, and confusing my poor dog by talking to him in another language. I stopped studying when I knew I was getting too much information. I wrote in my journal. And I did the impossible... I gave my dog a bath without getting soaked in the process! |

| | Cree? That's very cool.
I cleaned out the back yard to prepare for planting--hopefully next weekend. And painted my toenails. Got some sun to bring my freckles out a bit. Only slightly sunburned!

| | This afternoon it was warm enough to lay outside in the sun and relax and I played some. Also, my children and I planted Zinnias and Petunias and will be planting again tommorrow. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
